How do I apply for a job or submit my resume?
To be considered for any position, you must create a profile through the CSX website. Mailed and emailed resumes will not be considered. To apply for a position at CSX, please follow the steps below.
To check your application status, log in to the CSX Jobs tool, and click on the "MyJobpage" tab.
My username and/or password are not recognized when I try to register as a new user.
Usernames and passwords cannot contain spaces. Passwords must be between 6 - 32 characters and contain at least 1 letter and 1 number, and must not contain your username.
If I forgot my password, how can I reset it?
Click the “forgot password” link to reset your password. You will receive a temporary access code by email. Copy and paste this code in the password field and you will be prompted to create a new one. The code is case sensitive and may not be recognized if you type it in. I am trying to apply for a position and my account is locked. How do I get my account unlocked?
Your account will unlock after 15 minutes. Please try again after this timeframe. If you are having problems signing in, click the “forgot password” link to reset your password. You will receive a temporary access code in email. Copy and paste this code in the password field and you will be prompted to create a new one. The code is case sensitive and may not be recognized if you type it in. How do I check the status of my application?
Check your application status by logging into the Search Job Openings and Apply Now tool. Click on the “MyJobpage” tab. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, if you are selected for an interview, we will contact you via the email address you have on file. Please keep your email address up to date.
I do not see positions in my city/state. How can I apply for a job?
Positions are posted on our website as they become available. If you do not see positions posted, we do not have any current openings. Applications are accepted for open positions only.
How can I be contacted when positions become available?
You can create a ‘job agent’ in your profile to notify you via email when positions become available. Check the box next to “I would like to receive information when a new position matching my profile is posted” to receive an email notification. Positions are posted on our website as they become available.

How do I discontinue the Job Agent alert feature?
In order to remove the job alerts from your profile you will need to log back into your profile on the CSX Career Portal and deselect the “send emails matching my profile” option on your personal job page. This will cease all email correspondence when new positions matching your requested criteria are posted.

Please check your window and make sure the window is not set to zoom (i.e., lower right corner).

Thank you for your service! Interested candidates can apply for the positions that are posted on our website as they become available.
